In an all German clash, Philipp Kohlschreiber takes on former World No 2 Tommy Haas in the first round of The Championships, Wimbledon 2012.
The two recently met at Halle semis where Haas prevailed 7-6(5), 7-5 and went on to win the title also. Surprisingly both of their two previous meetings were also played on the grass of Halle. In 2008, it was Kohlschreiber who came out on top and in 2009, it was Haas who won in three fiercely fought sets.
Kohlscreiber is currently ranked at No 30 in the rankings and won his fourth career title at Munich this year. His win loss record stands at 24-14 this year. His opponent - Haas won the Halle Open as his 13th career title two weeks before and as a result jumped to No 50 rankings in the world. His win loss record stands at 14-6 this year.
