2012 US Open: Federer through to the quarters as Fish pulls out

American No.3 an former World no.8 pulled out of his prequarter clash with Roger Federer citing health reason as his explanation.
American Mardy Fish has pulled out of his fourth-round match against Roger Federer at the U.S. Open because of ''health reasons.''
There were no further details on Mardy's condition from the tournament officials. The 30 year old had gone through heart surgery earlier in the year and missed two months re-cooperating from it.
He overcame Gilles Simon and Nikolay Davydenko in two back to back five set matches.
Afterward, the 23rd-seeded Fish did not appear at a news conference. Tournament officials said he was getting treatment, but didn't give any specifics.
The top-ranked Federer reaches his 34th consecutive Grand Slam quarterfinal.
