Last year’s US Open finalist, Caroline Wozniacki must be oozing with loads of confidence, because the Dane has won three of her last four tournaments. This string of wins also includes back-to-back titles in Montreal and New Haven.
Wozniacki started off on an easier note at Flushing Meadows, as she won her first round match easily in straight sets.
Wozniacki will play 18 year old Kai-Chen Chang in the second round. Chang is at a career high ranking of 84th at this moment. So far, the hard-court season has remained pretty ordinary for her.

This would be the second-meeting between the two players. Earlier they met in Wimbledon, where Wozniacki beat Chang in straight sets with a 6-4 6-3 scoreline.
It does appear like a cakewalk for the Dane, until she would commit some terrible mistakes.
