Finally  Benneteau decides to retire midway and allows  Murray to walk into the quarter-finals of Monte Carlo Masters 2012.

Benneteau still tries to play as Murray holds on after the medical time out. It is unfortunate to see such an incident take place with the set so evenly poised. Murray leads 6-5 in the first set.
