Dedicating his win to his future wife Jelena Ristic, Djokovic said: "I dedicate it to my future wife and our future baby. I would like to dedicate it to my whole family and my team. And last but not least I dedicate this title to my first coach that taught me all the basics: Jelena Gencic. She passed away last year and this is for her."

"It was a great match to be part of. Roger is a great role model and a great champion and I thank him for letting me win today. I was hoping Roger would miss the first serve but it didn't happen. It rarely happens. That's why he has 17 Grand Slams: in important moments he comes up with his his best shots. It wasn't easy to regroup; I don't know how I managed to do it. This is the tournament I always dreamed of winning - the best in the world, the most valuable one."

After Federer it’s the turn of the newly crowned champion Novak Djokovic to share his views about the match.

Federer is being queried about the presence of his twin girls in the Players’ Box to which he replies: “I don't know if they quite understand but it's nice they came out. I felt the love out here again, I've enjoyed myself, so see you next time.”

"I thought it was a great final. Can't believe I made it to five - wasn't looking good for a while! I hoped it would be enough. You know it's going to be tough facing him - sometimes rough physically. I can only say congratulations: an amazing match, an amazing tournament, and deserved, well deserved."

The presentation ceremony is taking place inside Centre Court at the moment with Federer speaking first.

Novak Djokovic joins Petra Kvitova as he becomes a two-time Wimbledon champion - In what was a blockbuster final inside Centre Court – the home of Tennis, it was the top seed Novak Djokovic who overcame the spirited challenge of the seven-time former champion Roger Federer in five jaw-dropping sets here at the All England Club in London on Sunday. Both players played high, high quality tennis for the first three sets with the Serb taking a two sets to one lead courtesy of a clinical performance in the tiebreaker in set No.3.

  sandy: HArd luck federer :(

The fourth set was full of complete drama as Novak breezed through to a 5-2 lead within a blink of an eye before Federer made a remarkable comeback to take the next five games in a row to send the match into a deciding set. The final set once again had ebbs and flows with the pendulum swinging back and forth in favour of both great champions. But, in the end it was Djokovic’s unbelievable depth on returns that gave him that decisive break in the final game of the match to achieve a terrific win over the World No.4 in three hours and 56 minutes.
