A tennis player needs to have a Tennis Gripscomfortable grip on the tennis racquet to make his strokes with pin point precision. Grip acts as a foundation for all strokes in tennis. Its very important you choose that grip which suites your style of play best. Here is the list of most commonly used grips in tennis :

  1. Continental Grip

  2. Eastern Forehand Grip

  3. Semi-Western Forehand Grip

  4. Western Forehand Grip

  5. Eastern Backhand Grip

  6. Extreme Eastern Backhand Grip

  7. Two Handed Backhand Grip

There are many ways to explain how to find a particular grip, but the easiest is to use the base knuckle of your index finger as the main reference point. The handle of a racquet has an octagonal shape.
