The Slice serve:  The Slice serve can be used to take the opponent by surprise. A perfect sharp angle can be created with the slice serve at the right place of the court with a chop at the right place of the ball would result in a spin of the ball to extreme angles of the court. The serve can be used as a weapon in any desired manner.

Power: The slice serve takes a little power and the depth of the serve but at the same time increases the pace of the ball. The ball tends to fade away quickly after it pitches on the court and takes the ball away from the path of the bounce

Bounce: The ball diverts its direction away from the ball and then tends to move quickly and away from the striking zone of the returner. The bounce also tends to fade off quickly giving the returner minimum time to return the ball.
