World no.1 Serena Williams put up yet another masterclass against Simona Halep whose cindrella story finally came to an end at the hands of the American inside the Foro Italico here in Rome today. The top seed made a slow start in the match as she went down an early break in the first set, but once she settled in her groove there was no looking back as she raced through to a crushing 6-3, 6-0 victory over the 21 year old youngster. |
