French Open winner Maria Sharapova put up yet another impressive performance to extend her campaign in the final Grand Slam of the year as she defeated Sabine Lisicki of Germany in straight sets. The former World No. 1 looked totally determined from the word go and dazzled the crowd with her booming serves and a flurry of powerful ground-strokes from the baseline. Statistically speaking the Russian hammered 14 winners and won 62 percent of her first serves to wrap up the match in an hour and 41 minutes.
