Djokovic overwhelms the Devvarman in straight sets after playing some flawless tennis. With the match lasting for 1 hour and 8 minutes, it was Djokovic who had complete control of the match throughout and did not give Devvarman any chance to fight back. The Serb hit 4 aces along with 17 beautiful winners to get past a rather swift opponent. He also made the most of the weak serve of Devvarman and broke it 3 times to progress to Round 4 here.

A valiant effort from the Indian Somdev Devvarman but in the end, he could not match up with the power and precision or Del Potro, who earned breakthroughs early on in both sets and maintained leads to register a straight sets victory here. The Indian played some fine shots in testing rallies, but just could not convert any of the break-point out of three - and finally lost this duel in straight sets.
