Mikhail Youzhny gives a spirited performance to beat second seed and compatriot Nikolay Davydenko 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 in a tussle that lasted two hours and 24 minutes of play. The second set turned out to be the real decider in the match as Youzhny came up with some confident shots, coupled with Davydenko's repeated errors to first level and then race to an invincible 4-0 lead in the final set which he slowly, but duly converted into a win. This is Youzhny's fourth final of the year.
