Hello and welcome to our coverage of Davidoff Swiss Indoors Basel, an indoor ATP 500 event.
Today we start with our coverage with upcoming match between second seeded Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Jan Hernych of Czech Republic.


Both the players have met three times before and Djkovic leads 2-1 in head to head comparison.
Djokovic has prevailed against Hernych twice already this season on hard courts while Hernych's lone victory  came three years ago on grass at 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.

This year has been very happening for the word no 3 Djokovic. He has performed consistently all through the season and reached finals of atleast five masters series, was a semifinalist in U.S Open and a quarterfinalist in many more... He is one of the few players who have won 3 titles this year and looks a firm favourite to pull this one easily.


Hernych, only sparkling performance came in Zagreb this year when he reached the semifinals there. After that he faced a series of first round losses. His first round win over Aussie qualifier Peter Luczak in Basel came as the first win for the Czech since reaching second round at the US Open in September.
