Andy Murray is trying to become the first Briton since Tim Henman in 2002 to win the prestigious Aegon Championships in Queen's Club. Murray has been in amazing form this year with title wins in Miami, Rotterdam and Doha. Although after a dismal performance at the year's second Grand Slam in Roland Garros, losing out to semifinalist Fernando Gonzalez in a tight match, the Scot seems pretty alert with his preparation going to the third Grand Slam, the Wimbledon. In his last couple of matches here in Queen's, Murray looked in cruise control, including an emphatic win over Juan Carlos Ferrero, where he totally humbled the Spaniard.
His opponent today, James Blake has been in a title drought so far this year with the best result being the final showing in Estoril and a semifinal showing in San Jose. Blake, who is quite popular on the tour and recently won the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian of the Year award at the annual ATP Awards function for his commendable work in raising money for the research dedicated towards the cure of cancer, is constantly struggling in the tennis arena. Can this final prove to be a beginning of something for this tall American? We will find out, only on TennisEarth.com
