In a match that lasted exactly two hours in play, a visibly limping Andy Murray beat home-favourite Fernando Verdasco in three gruelling sets to reach the final of the 2009 Open Tenis Valencia.
Murray pocketed an elusive break in the sixth game of the third set to race to a 5-2 lead in the match and maintained hi composure to post the 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 win.
