Clijsters took the charge over the match in the second set as she raced away with quick holds of serve. Clijsters took perfect assistance from her big first serve and her threatening forehands to seal her service games. Moreover she came up with great court coverage and penetrating returns of serve to break Peers almost every single time except for one occasion in the second set and went on further to win the match in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 to enter the third round of the tournament
