Former World No. 1 Serena Williams caps a fortnight of perfect tennis as she beats World No. 3 Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland in three sets with a 6-1 5-7 6-2 scoreline and wins her fifth Wimbledon title and 14th major title in total.

Serena says "Oh my God I can't even describe... I thank Jehovah for letting me get this far. I almost didn't make it , two years ago I was in hospital... It's so worth is and I'm so happy. I never dreamt of being here again. You just never give up."

Radwanska on today's performance "I'm still shaking so much, so I think I have the best two weeks of my life you know? Of course she played too good today. I already have great memories from 2005 when I won junior Wimbledon. I think it was not my day today but I will just try next year and we'll see. Thank you very much for the support. Thank you so much."

Serena Williams gets a equally good vocal cheer from crowd as she lifts the Venus Rosewater Dish.

Agnieszka Radwanska receives a huge cheer from the crowd as she comes to take the runner- up trophy.

Serena is understandably very emotional out there.....

She now climbs to her players box and hugs her Dad first....then she hugs other members of her family...her sister Venus and in the end her mother. 

Serena falls flat on her back in the middle and covers her face with joy. She quickly gets back on her feet and shake hands with Radwanska.

Serena breaks! Here comes another breakthrough for the American and now she will serve to clinch the title. Serena waits and allows the Pole to make mistakes.  Radwanska messes up with two easy shots and  Serena gets the break. Its 2-5, final set.
