Maria Sharapova dominated the proceedings from the beginning and took the first set in a flash. Though, the Romanian Olaru regrouped herself nicely in the second set, easily squandered away many opportunities and allowed Sharapova to dictate the terms. In the end, Sharapova emerged victorious and sailed into the third round of the Championships 2010.
