Third seeded Serbian Novak Djokovic recorded a confident straight sets win over Chinese Taipei's Yen-Hsun Lu to enter the semifinals at Wimbledon. Djokovic did not face a single break point opportunity in the entire match and completed the 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 victory in one hour and 50 minutes of play. He now meets Czech Tomas Berdych, who took out defending champion Roger federer in the day's first quarterfinal match on Centre Court.
