In a two hour and two minutes tussle, Russian Nikolay Davydenko finally returned to the elite circle as he beat ATP World Tour champion Rafael Nadal to win the 2009 Shanghai Masters ATP World Tour 1000 event.As the Russian pocketed a closely fought opening set in a tie-break, the second set seemed a lot easier for davydenko to dominate as he duly did with his whopping 35 winners, coupled with Nadal's 23 unforced errors.
