Serena played beautifully as she dictated play from the baseline and all the other departments of the game. Serena slammed 6 aces and 30 winners to get past Peer in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 in 1 hour and 7 minutes of play. Peer, on the other hand, made 21 unforced errors in the match and was unable to produce the shots at important stages of the match which handed her the straight sets defeat.
