Federer defied the strong challenge of the spirited Romanian  Ungur, who tested the Swiss Maestro with his impressive one-handed backhand and precision-oriented shots. Federer looked in dire straits in the third-set, but then he regrouped nicely in the fourth-set - and served really well under demanding situation to come on top - in the end. Federer took 2 hours and 27 minutes to win this duel, as he fired 15 aces and hammered 50 winners.
