Andy Roddick plays beautifully to break Jarkko Nieminen twice in the final set and infact serve to utmost perfection to ward off any risks of being broken with 19aces and lot more unreturnables to his credit.
On the other hand Nieminen displayed wonderful array of ground strokes and serving capabilities by taking full advantage of left handed angle to rule over the second and third but failed to take all the way to the decider and served a double to give it away to the American in five sets 2-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-7, 3-6
