*Del Potro raises his arms in jubilation as he books his place into the semifinals of Rogers Cup with a convincing victory over Rafa.* The pair displayed high quality tennis in the first set and entertained crowd with closely fought rallies. During the first set tie breaker, Nadal lost his concentration there, lost the set and eventually went on to loose the match also.
Del Potro next faces Andy Roddick of America, who ousted Serbian Novak Djokovic 6-4 7-6 in another intensely fought quarterfinal of the evening session.
