Despite trailing 5-2 in the opening set, the Spanish veteran looked hopeful and reeled off a series of games to register the confident win in amazing fashion. Ferrer now awaits the winner of the second semifinal between Rafael Nadal and Ernests Gulbis who take courts a little later today.
