Finally, five time Halle champion Roger Federer managed to pull it off. Tremendous play from the rising Canadian Raonic, who thoroughly tested the Canadian legend but just could not come up with a fitting reply in the third-set tie-breaker. Raonic fired 25 aces but at the same time he also committed 29 unforced errors, which spoiled it for him.
