Murray lost a little monentum in the first set but then gained confidence at the end of the match. The Scot took full advantage of his big serve and thrashed aggressive forehands to obtain easy points. He managed to pull out two bagles in the match as Gimeno-Traver seemed to be just a spectator. Murray kept 70% of first serves in, smashed 13 aces and hammered 45 winners to with the match, 4-6, 6-3, 6-0, 6-0

No respite for  Gimeno-traver, as Murray breaks again and takes his lead to 5-0 in the fourth set. Now, Murray will serve to win the match. 

Murray holds on yet again and takes his lead to 4-0 in the fourth set. Time is running out quickly for  Gimeno-traver. who is bogged down under pressure at the moment. 

No stopping for the Super-Scot now, as Murray gets a double-break again and races to a 3-0 lead in the fourth set. Murray shows great presence of mind to dispatch a volley winner and once again the resst is done by  Gimeno-traver's unforced error. 

Its business as usual for Murray, as the Scot holds on to a love-service game this time and extends his lead to 2-0 in the fourth set.  Gimeno-traver once again commits two unforced errors and Murray makes the most of them. 

Murray on a roll here. Well, the Scot completely controls the momentum here, as she breaks yet again and gets on board in the forth-set - in style. The Spaniard continues to suffer with recurring unforced errors. 

Murray took only 29 minutes to win the third set. The Scot outplayed  Gimeno-traver in all departments of the game, as he repeatedly broke him and did not allow him to win a single game of the third set. Murray won the third set and got a 2 sets to 1 lead in the match.  Gimeno-traver needs to win the next set to take this battle into the decisive fifth set. 

Another break for Murray this time as  Gimeno-traver is looking out-of sorts now in the third set. After committing three unforced errors,  Gimeno-traver fails to judge a drop-shot by Murray and gets broken again. Now, Murray will serve to get a 2 sets to 1 lead in the match. 

Murray reels off a love-service game this time and takes his lead to 4-0 now. 

Murray gets a double-break here and takes his lead to 3-0 in the third set. Well, the Spaniard fires a big serve at the right time, but fails to negotiate an easy forehand. Murray on a roll here. Its 3-0, third set. 

Murray holds on to an easy service game this time and extends his lead to 2-0.  Gimeno-traver commits three unforced errors on his forehand and allows Murray to hold on - without any trouble. 

Murray took the momentum of the second-set in third set and broke the Spaniard to get on board in style.  Gimeno-traver fails to tackle an easy forehand and Murray makes the most of that by smacking a superb forehand winner to get the coveted break - too early in the third set. Its 0-1, third set. 

Murray took 39 minutes to win the second-set. The Scot earned the coveted break - just in the nick of time and held on to his serve in the next to earn the equalizer. This time, Murray did not allow  Gimeno-traver to get any freebies and served really well to win the second-set. 

A crucial hold from Murray this time, as he forces two errors on  Gimeno-traver and then hammers another forehand to outrun the Spaniard - Murray maintains his slender lead here in the second-set. 

Gimeno-traver continues to impress with his resistance and precise selection of shots. Murray tries to extract an error from the Spaniard, but fails to handle his forehand and  Gimeno-traver holds on yet again. No break of serve in the second set. Its 3-3. 

Murray serves his way to another easy hold and stays in front with a 3-2 in the second-set. The Scot is looking pretty upset after losing the first set. 

Once again  Gimeno-traver stands up for the task as he saves a break point and brings in his reliable forehand into play to get the coveted break. Its 2-2, second set. 

Murray brings in his probing serve into play and does not waste much time to get a slender lead here - with another easy hold this time. Its 2-1, second-set.

Murray makes a swift start to the second-set after losing the first set on a tame note, as he holds on to a love-service game. Its 1-0, second-set. 

With a single break of serve,   Gimeno-traver won the first set in 44 minutes of play. The Spaniard earned 74% points on his first serve, converted 1 out of 3 break points and committed only 3 unforced errors to go one set up in the match.  Gimeno-traver also hammered 8 winners. Murray had a few opportunities, but he failed to convert those and lost the first set on a tame note. 

Gimeno-traver strikes! The Spaniard draws the first blood. Murray gets himself out of a tricky situation early on with the help of two big forehands, but commits two unforced errors to gift away the break to  Gimeno-traver, who will serve now to win the first set. 

No break of serve so far in the match. The Spaniard  Gimeno-traver follows Murray with an easy hold this time and once again equalizes the proceedings in the first set at 4-4.  Gimeno-traver hammers back to back winners to hold on this time. 

The Scot reels off an easy service game this time and keeps his nose in front at 4-3, first set. 

Gimeno-traver confidently holds on to his service game this time and equalizes the proceedings with 3-3 each. The Spaniard surprises Murray with a superb cross-court forehand winner and the Scot fails to respond to that as he commits two unforced errors and  Gimeno-traver holds on. 

A swift love-service hold from Murray this time. Three exquisite forehand winners from the Scot and he maintains his slender lead in the first set with a 3-2. 

Murray looked utterly disappointed this time, as two break point opportunities go begging for him. The Scot forces two errors on  Gimeno-traver to get him in trouble, but then the Spaniard smacks a beautiful forehand - and rest is done by Murray's ill-timed unforced errors. Its 2-2, first set. 

A quick hold from Murray, as he races to a 2-1 lead in the first set.  Gimeno-traver commits two unforced errors and Murray nudges ahead. 

Some nerves from the Spaniard, but finally he manages to hold on to his serve and gets on board. Murray fails to negotiate  Gimeno-traver's probing serve and scores level at 1-1 each.

Both players have met only once before in Gimeno-Traver's hometown in Valencia, Spain where Murray emerged victorious in straight sets

Murray's opponent, Spaniard Daniel Gimeno-Traver is currently ranked No.59 in the world. With no ATP singles titles or finals under his belt so far, Gimeno-Traver's most solid performance at a Grand Slam level came in the 2010 US Open where he reached the third round. His best performance at the All England Lawn Tennis Club in 2009 when he managed to win a main draw match to reach the second round. 

Murray's impressively consistent performances at majors have helped him hold on to the top four spot in singles rankings for so long. After a runner up finish in Melbourne, Murray lost to eventual champion Rafael Nadal in the semifinals of Roland Garros. However, the major boost up came in the form of his most recent triumph on the green grass of Queen's Club. Murray definitely is sticking to his guns this season as well as far as the match strategy and playing style is concerned and is hoping to take his confidence level to a new high to find title glory at Wimbledon.
