In just under 4 hours, Tomas Berdych finishes off the match in emphatic fashion after beating Juan Monaco in a marathon five set match. With the match swaying like a pendulum from 1 corner to the other, it was Berdych who came out on top courtesy his experience. Monaco produced a spirited performance but failed to cross the hurdle even after fighting back in the final set. The tie is now evenly poised with both Argentina and Czech Republic fetching 1 win each.
