SPAIN WINS 2009 DAVIS CUP...!

A third consecutive victory in the tie against Czech Republic saw host nation Spain successfully defend their Davis Cup title. Czech duo makes an attemot to recover from the initial damages in the third set and races ti a 40-0 lead with Stepanek's lightening fast reflex volly winners. Another return error gives the Czechs a chance to appear on scoreboard in the third set.

Verdasco's service game opens with some solid serve and volley winners for a 30-0 lead and an astonishing overhead sets up game point at 40-15, which the Spanish duo duly convert and race to a 2-0 lead in the third set.
