Djokovic emerged victorious in a stiff battle - that reached the climax in the second set. First set saw the complete submission of Nalbandian, as he failed to find his form and lost it on a tame note. But, the second set saw some fine tennis from both the players, as both broke each other and took the match to a well-fought tie-breaker. The tie-breaker would have been won by any of the players, but Nalbandian made couple of extra mistakes during the crucial times and lost the match.
