Azarenka wins. In two closely fought sets, Belarusian fourth seed Victoria Azarenka registered the victory over Polish star Agnieszka Radwanska to reach the final of the 2010 Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships. Azarenka trailed Radwanska 4-2 in the second set but reeled off several games in a row to first level the set and the close the match.

Radwanska opens the match with a swashbuckling backhand down the line winner, but Azarenka hits another deep forehand to force an error. After a magnificient backhand crosscourt winner, Radwanska hits a loose backhand and pays the price with 30-30. Azarenka then hits a beautiful forehand drive volley winner to get to match point and seals the victory on the next error from Radwanska.
Azarenka's biggest win so far has been her triumph in Miami at the Sony Ericsson Open where she beat an injured Serena Williams in the final.

At 15-15, Radwanska hits a beautifully angled forehand crosscourt return winner, but Azarenka quickly gets back in the service game and hits two massive forehand winners to get a game point which she converts at the expense of Radwanska's backhand error.

Radwanska overhits an expensive forehand winner to give Azarenka an opening, which the Belarusian capitalises on with a blistering forehand drive volley and breaks Radwanska to get back on level terms.

Azarenka opens the game well and gets a 30-0 lead quickly. A blistering backhand return winner gives Radwanska some boost-up but the Belarusian regroups herself to win the service game.

Radwanska opens the service game with a classic serve and volley winner, and gets a service winner on the next for 30-0. Azarenka then wrongfoots the Polish star to hit a beautiful forehand pass, but misses a difficult low volley to give a chance to Azarenka, which she squanders with an unforced error off backhand. Moments later, Radwanska wins the game.
In the quarterfinals yesterday, Radwanska was taken the distance by young Russian prodigy Regina Kulikova, who lost the battle in three gruelling sets.

Azarenka puts the bad memories of a shaky start behind and extracts some forced errors to get a 30-0 lead. Radwanska then hitsa swinging forehand crosscourt pass, but Azarenka keeps getting easy points on serve to win the game and narrow down the gap.

Radwanska makes no mistakes this time and hits some delightful shots including a beautiful lob winner to get a game point at 40-30. Radwanska then fires a big running forehand winner to get an advantage and hits an amazing volley and smash winner to hold serve and gets a 3-1 lead.
