It was a disappointing day for Janko Tipsarevic today, who just wasn’t able to find his strokes. The Serb started poorly, and could never get back into the match, despite working really hard in the second set. Juan Martin on the other hand continued to be consistent all through the match, and never looked in any trouble. The Argentine’s stability on his first serve was even better as he won 84 percent of those points. He fired 6 aces and 19 winners to that comfortable win.  With that straight sets win, Del Potro has made a strong case for a semi final place.
